BEWL VALLEY SAILING CLUB Boat Club and Bewl Water
'HAVE A GO' DAY

This year the ever popular Bewl 'Have a Go Day' will be joining forces with the Bewl Valley Sailing Club Boat Show to provide a full day's excitement for all the family. There will be a chance to experience all of the activities at Bewl Water in one day as well as join in with all of the other entertainment.
The Bewl Valley Sailing Club Boat Show will have, amongst other excitements:
* Displays from an array of Dinghy manufacturers
* Other trade stands
* Steel Band
* Belly Dancing
* Hog Roast
* Raffle
Admission: Adults: £5 per person, Children (6-15): £4, Children 5 and under - FREE
Gates open at 9am, activities start at 10.30am (No pre-booking required)

By road:
Bewl Water is situated just one mile south of Lamberhurst off the main A21 London to Hastings road. Turn off the A21 at the traffic islands marked with brown tourist sign and follow road to entrance gate.

FOLKSTONE MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL
SUNDAY 12th June
Folkestone's Multi-Cultural festival is now in it's 5th year, and in this time has slowly expanded so that 2011 will be the biggest held in the Folkestone area. Originally started by Folkestone Town Centre Management, it is now run by a willing band of volunteers whose sole aim is to give something to the local community. The festival is mainly free and takes place in the pedestrianised area of the town with some evening events in various venues. We wanted to provide an event for different cultures and religions to come together and co-operate with each other while having fun. This we believe has happened, and has brought to our attention a wealth of local talent. These local groups and individuals along with a mix of professional entertainers are the solid base for our event. We also have stalls for crafts and food, workshops for art, dance, music etc. along with fashion shows, make-overs and many offers from shops during the festival.
The festival runs from 9th to the 12th June and Anaconda will be performing on 12th June.

GOTHIC BELLYDANCE FESTIVAL

A feast of gothic bellydance for cabaret and tribal dancers alike over a full weekend, beginning with a hafla on Friday night, Open Stage and Club Night at Redeemer on Saturday, workshops all day
The line-up includes Sera Solstice, Sashi, Morgana, Sabrina, Her Royal Hellness Lucretia, Elin KŒven (Norway), Yolanda (Poland), Tree Russell, Angela Wooi, Yvette Cowles, Bex Priest, Beverley Spracklen and Jesse Stanbridge.
